Any exrience with Tokina 11-16 2.8 on C-100mk2?

Hi there, Any C-100 owners, using Tokina 11-16 2..8 on regular basis? Or Sigma 12-24 4? Which would you recommend on having in the bag? I own a c 100 mkii. Looking for a good wide lens.

Thank you!

The Tokina 11-16mm f2.8 has a great reputation for video. I've used it as my go-to wide angle for several years on dSLR, most recently on a C100 Mk 1 DPAF. It works fine, including autofocus. The imagery is great, the handling fine, 77mm filters (like many other f2.8 lenses). My Tokina is the first version.

I'm not familiar with that particular Sigma.

I'm interested it trying out the Canon 10-18mm f4.5-5.6 IS STM. It's the only UWA with IS, so far as I know. I'd guess it would mostly live with the still cameras in my stable, but, its STM may be compatible with the Mk. II's face-detection?

I may end up renting one just to try it out. Perhaps others here have used it.

Re: Any exrience with Tokina 11-16 2.8 on C-100mk2?

I had one of these - was fine when shooting on my 5DIII and C100, but as soon as I upgraded to a 1DXII and C300MkII and shooting in 4K I noticed the chromatic aberation - it's so bad on this lens, made the edges look so blurry. So, I've now sold this lens and bought a Sigma 10-20 f3.5 - it's slightly slower but has very low CA.
