Looks like 7D actually is better than T2i

Video is a bit long but shows a good number of reasons I'm glad I got a 7D. No color temp for white balance, button config, no dedicated wheel for fstop/shutter, size, good god it goes on... but I'd say the two biggest drawbacks I saw are the smaller ISO range (didn't see 250, 320, etc pop up, but maybe I'm wrong and worse low light performance. IMHO
