Nikon AF-S 18-200mm F3.5-5.6G VR Lens

I am interested in the using this lens on the 5D
it's a DX lens and I am wondering it the Image Stabilization of it works without a Nikon body

Any reviews using it with the Canon 5D?
Thanks
J

Don't bother...
For all "G" lenses only solution to control f stop is 16:9 G mount adapter that is expensive and too cumbersome to use when shooting video (my feel..).
If you want Nikon, go for any MF or "D" AF lenses, where you have manual f ring and solution to use any f stop you desire just by turning the ring (just as any other pro video camera...).

I am using a few Nikon primes no problems, and Dan Chung does his great field stories with the set of Nikon D AF-S zooms and primes...

Oh, yes: Nikon VR and Canon IS are "apples and oranges" what ever lens you choose...
