Remove Display For Playback, not live capture.

I haven't been able to find this answer yet, so I'm assuming there is no way to do it but I'm tossing it up here as a last ditch effort. I would like to remove all of the display icons that pop in playback through the composite hookup. I don't care about live mode, (well I do but not for the purpose of this question) After I've recorded something, let's say in 640 mode, and I wanted to play it back on a crummy little standard def television is there any way to remove that information off the screen. I tried hitting "info" like in live mode but that doesn't seem to work, is there a way to do this?
