Better flash/strobo artefacts with new firmware!?

Doday, after installing the new version I noticed better - if I can say so - splitsceen artefacts fom studio strobes/flashes. The edges are now more gradual.
We had full day photoshoot that I occasinally documented and I noticed it immediately.
This could be due to firmware but can be due to psychosis of mine due to the ease of use.

Cheers,
T
