Commercial shot on the 5D in HD
Celebrity School of Beauty on Vimeo
Shot by N2 Productions in Miami. Came out pretty good I think. It's in spanish. Basicly the essence is it's a commercial for a beauty school. Enjoy. Comments are welcome. Oh and , Hi. Welcome! That did turn out pretty good! The lighting is pretty remarkable. What kind of lights were you using?

2 - Kin Flo's , 3 - 650's, 1 - 1k, and a few 250's for some accent lighting. Various gels/diffusion screens and reflectors were used as well.

Beautifully done. I liked the mixing of tungsten and daylight. Great editing and pacing. I liked the musical score too. Thanks for sharing.

Nice job!
The 5D MkII is looking more and more like a nice alternative but I would like some more audio, monitoring and framerates before going too far with it. |

Forgot to mention, but NONE of the audio from the 5D was used as it sounded like Helen Keller stuck in a box.
There were two channels of audio which were used. One, on a lavalier mic and then one boom mic. They were captured using a Sony Z1u's sound recording. Last edited by Michael Reyes; July 1st, 2009 at 11:42 AM. |
