Problem with Reds..

I'm mixing footage from my XH-A1 and 5DMII and noticing that the difference in reds really stands out. The 5D seems to have more of an orange tint. The A1 portrays the true color correctly. I am manually white balancing the same way on both cams. If anyone else is having this issue, are there any presets or settings that anyone is using to correct this?

In the menu there is a two dimensional WB offset control. You should be able to dial in a good match.

Go to the second Red Camera icon. The 4th item is WB SHIFT/BKT. Use the joystick to adjust, then hit Set.

I haven't tried this with video yet, but at a Canon intermediate class I asked the Canon rep if it applied to movie mode, and he said that it did.

Let us know if and how well it works!

Try setting the picture style to Faithful.

I know that it tends more towards magenta than, for example, Neutral.
