I shot a low light scene with the 7D and the 5DmkII.

Both were on M 50mm 1.4 at F1.4 1/60 ASA 1600 auto WB. AF on the left candle before shooting.

I am also uploading the actual raw videos to my server. I will post a link to them in a while.

These are .jpg at highest quality frame grabs from a slow dolly shot, 7D on left 5D on the right.

Here are the 3 videos:

http://www.westsideav.com/Comparo/5DmkII_closer.MOV
http://www.westsideav.com/Comparo/5DmkII_same_place.MOV
http://www.westsideav.com/Comparo/7D.MOV

These are big files actual mp4's from the camera, completely untouched.

It may take a long time to see them total over 300MB.

The name of the vids explains what I did. The 7D and 5DmkII_same_place shows how much the 1.6 crop is.

All were shot with Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM. Set at f1.4 1/60 auto WB manual mode both on 30p (of course 5D is 30p and 7D is 29.97). If you want to drop them in a timeline conform them to the same rate first.

I think the result is interesting.
