Moved from 7D to 5D2 ->> Lense options??
Hi Guys,
Done a search on here couldn't find what I'm after. I have a 7D rig with Tokina (EFS only) 11-16 F2.8, Canon EFS 17-55 IS F2.8, Canon EFS 18-200 IS, Canon 70-200mm F2.8 .. 5D2 is on its way now.. need lenses, obviously my lenses besides the 70-200mm can't be used on the 5D2... Have my eyes set on the canon 16-35mm II F2.8 for Wide for my 5D, holding onto the 70-200mm, I need a mid range Lens.. I see Canon has a 28-70mm F2.8 fast lens, but it doesn't have IS.. Could some of you guys recommended one for me? Thanks! |

There's also the 24-105/4 L IS. If you get the camera with the kit, you get a good deal on that lens. It's not f/2.8, but the lens is 100% solid at f/4.
There's been a rumor of a 24-70/2.8 IS forever, but rumors don't count when you're shopping.
