EXIF Data for Video?

I completed our first big video shoot with our 5DM2. The footage all looks really great. But I changed the ISO value quite a bit from shot to shot. Is there any way to tell after the fact what ISO we shot at? Maybe if I opened the raw files in Adobe Bridge?

Thanks in advance.

You can use Cineform NeoHD to look at all the EXIF data. It's pretty unbelievable how much data the camera captures with each shot...ISO, focal length, focal length equivalent, aperture, and much, much more.

Thanks! But I have no experience with Cineform. Will their free player do it or do I have to buy the $499 program?

EXIF data on each movie clip recorded is stored in the accompanying .THM file which is a small JPEG thumbnail file of the first frame of the movie.

Thanks! I wonder if I could just open the THM that's stored with the MOV's. Hmmm...... (need to do some testing)

Force open the *.thm file with photoshop (or simply make a backup copy and change the extension to *.jpg) and read the EXIF via Ctrl+Alt+Shift+I.

God bless us all!

They are recorded on the CF card in the camera with one .THM file for every .MOV You probably didn't copy them over to your PC. I am not even sure that NeoScene even knows what to do with them unlike the Canon FCP Log & Transfer plugin that actually requires a matching .THM file before it will process the video file.
