Magic Lantern confusion

Hi guys

On the ML site it specifies that for monitoring, the cam 'Only outputs 480p while recording (quicktime file is still 1080p)' - But, I'm sure i saw somewhere that ML had resolved this so that the cam was able to output 1080i whilst recording?? What's the sketch? (n.b no speculation please, really need a concrete answer on this)

Much love.

No change in ML. With 550d version, they are approaching ability to get all the features (zebras, false colors, focus peaking, etc) show up on the attached monitors properly, but the fact that the 5D and T2i(550d) output in the lower rez has not changed, and is not expected to. I believe it is related to unavailability of processing power.
