VX2000 and GL2 color match
Any hints on how to color match the two cameras? I'm doing a wedding with a friend who owns a vx2000 and any info would be great!
Thanks |

you could try to manual white balance but they'll balance different.
i would adjust so none have green/magenta tint. now one might be tad warmer/cooler adjust the best you can before shoot ... then i would match in POST. it is harder to match 2 wide shoots then matching a wide shot cut to close up .. mzake sure you both agree that when shooting interior you will use X setting .. exterior's Z setting... basically the camera's will have a difference .. once you find that difference you apply a CC to whole clip before it hits the TL ( depends on NLE ) then you make finer adjustments in TL after you lock the picture. NLE that allow you to split screens in preview or can store a still photo so you can later compare/match make it easier. |

If it's an indoor shoot you will need to adjust the GL2 making less Red and more green/blue to get closer to the flesh tones of the 2000. Might want to breint the saturation onthe GL2 down a smidge as well.
