Kata ccc-2003 Hard Shell Case

Hello

Has anyone used one of these with their GL2? I have been looking at the 102 but was wondering if this might offer more protection and room.

Thanks

Rebecca

I think Kata is bringing out some new products and I have just received several samples of their bags for review on DV Info. If you are looking for a bag that offers a little more protection you might want to consider the Shell-03. While it is a nylon product, the Shell-03 incorporates Kata's TST (Thermo-Shield-Technology) protection. TST is a unique (Patent Pend.) technology that combines the best of hard sided cases into a soft bag. The rib shaped construction offers impact and shock protection. Kata's distinctive Yellop interior is anti-scratch and anti-static resistent, offering great protection for all your digital gear.

The complete review will be online in a couple of weeks. However, if you have specific questions, I'll try to answer as honestly as I can. Keep in mind that I've not had long term experience with this particular bag. I should be able to address most concerns to the suitability of the product and overall construction.

Hi Jeff,

Which new Kata bags are you reviewing? The new TST bags/cases look really cool.

I'll be reviewing the Panda Backpack w/raincover, Shell-03, and P-31 Pouch before NAB. After NAB we may have additional reviews available.
