Fine Alkali Dust & the GL2

I plan to take my GL2 to Burning Man this year. This event is a camcorder operator's dream and nightmare. Dream because of all the sights to film. Nightmare because the playa surface is a very fine alkali dust (very corrosive). The winds often pick up to over 50mph lifting the fine dust particles into the air. The day time temperatures are over 110 degrees F. I've looked at the Epic, Ikelite and EWA underwater 'containers' to keep dust away from my camera during 'dust time' filming.

Are there any other good waterproof housings on the market?

Does anyone have any suggestions for keeping a clean camera under these harsh conditions, ie, isolating camera from environment & cleaning tips?

How does one go about transporting sound to the camera when enclosed in one of these containers?
