For those who sent in the GL2 for the "remove cassette" problem when rewinding tape .... how did Cannon fix the problem and how much did it cost?

Here in Hungary 43.000 HUF (about $200), and 1 week.
They change the tape transport mechanism. My question is: has anybody have head changing? If yes, after how many workhour? I have 8 wedding for this year, and i want to make a sure game, but the guys in canon service says, the head is in normal condition. But i fear, because 6 months ago i have a message: "use cleaning cassette". Maybe i have just a dust on head that disappeared? I never seen dropout. |
