Computer Won't See HV20
Never mind...
It healed itself - magically. I just walked away to research here and type this note (total of about half an hour) and came back and both Vegas and HDLink recognized it. This, after fighting with them (computer and HV20) for about 45 min. *sigh* Well, all's well that ends well, I think. Dang it... Ok... Well, my title isn't exactly accurate. I put in a tape that was shot in a SD DV camera (a Canon, in fact) and my computer immediately recognized the camera. I put in the tape that was shot on the HV20, and the computer won't see the camera. Very odd, in my opinion. What might I doing wrong? I just want to dig the tape using Cineform (HDLink) or Sony Vegas 7. Thanks for any help. |

Vegas' external capture app can't recognize my HV10 either.. I do'nt know why..
What I did was in Tools->Options, I unchecked the box to use the external capture app, I now can now capture HDV footage using the internal capture application. |
