checking exposure on the hg10 at DVinfo.net

Since the hg10 doesnt have zebra stripes, if shooting manual. How do you check exposure?

Buy a memory card and put it in the camera. Without it the camera just winks at you that it has no card.

Push the camera photo button down half way.

There is a section in the manual about checking this.

After inserting a memory card, be sure to enable still-image recording in the Function menu (see manual).
