hv30 output to firestore?

does anyone know if you can record out of the hv30/hv20 via firewire to a firestore device?

Yes - just tried on a FS4ProHD. Only had time to try some Standard Def DV files but it took them fine as Raw DV which I could access on my MacBookPro.

I had to start the recording from the Firestore though as it did not seem to work in tapeless mode.

Maybe it can and I didn't try enough options on the camera or Firestore.

I had to look up SSD (I thought it might be an embarrassing infection). No, Firestores are currently hard drive based, but we live in hope. FAT32 magnetic drives are far from ideal.

great Colin, this gives me more incentive to get a firestore or similar as I can use it with an hv30 and my jvc hd100
