HV30 View Finder Extension at DVinfo.net

Has anybody ever found a way to add a view finder extension onto an HV20 or HV30?
Something that can rotate and be used for proper exposure and focus? The eyepieces on these are pretty much useless.

Hi Tony,

I've installed a rubber eye piece, and made a LCD Hood for the side viewer.

Haven't found any way to make a useful "view finder extension".

That looks very interesting! Have you tried it? How do you think it works?
Have you ever come accross anything like this with a rubber piece that would wrap more around your eye?
