HV20 A/V out while recording, not displaying "rec-status" in output video? at DVinfo.net

Hi

When we are recording with a HV20 camera we are at the same time feeding that image through the A/V out connector on the camera to a local TV system. The problem is that the camera is outputting whatever settings and other things i have displayed on the cameras LCD. If you push the "display" button everyting BUT the rec/stopped status in the top right corner is gone.
Is there any way of getting a totally clean image from the camera to feed to the TV system ?

Use your remote, and select TV Screen. That should give you every thing that goes to your LCD.
