HD-6600 pro and HV20

Hi guys

can anyone offer any advice on getting a lens hood for my Raynox HD-6600 pro wide angle lens? I have just stuck int on my HV20 and noticed a lot of lens flares but dont have much experience in this area. Would the cheap eaby rubber hoods be a waste of time? Should I think about a petal shaped one?

petal doesn't work, I tried, get a rubber one and cut it so it doesn't go into the frame
