WOW! Thank you very much for your write up and honest answers.
Low light will matter for Weddings but also the zoom for reasons you have mentioned. Sigh - Decisions! I keep going back and forth on the Canon XF100 and Sony AX2000. I never held the Canon but loved the AX2000 at my local Sony Style Store. Found the Sony AX2000 on eBay and I'm trying not to hit the trigger button:
