Retain Time & Date? How?
Is this ONLY retained by leaving in main battery? I'm starting to realise that I've missed out a primary bit of RTM process.
After I charged the battery pack (3 hours, yes?) and started exploring this Bad Boy, I removed the battery pack to find that this morning the Date and Time had gone. OK, my old XM2 has a system battery, am I correct in thinking that this XF300 has the same, but it isn't accessible to us mere mortals? Yes? And that as there HAS to be one, in there somewhere, it gets it "charge" from me leaving in the main pack for sometime? Correct? Please advise. Grazie |

Re: Retain Time & Date? How?
I left the power pack battery in the camera for 3 hours, and the DATA appears to have held.
Didn't see a mention of leaving the camera hooked up to supply? Mind you, I hadn't noticed any comment about what I did either! Grazie |

There is a built in Lithium battery, the CR 205 I think .. it should hold memory for up to 3 months. Its in the manual somewhere.

I just read in the manual:
Leave the AC/DC on the Camera and swtich the Cam off and charge it for 24 Hours. |

Re: Retain Time & Date? How?
The internal Battery holds only 3 month power.
So you better film some more days in a year ;-) Edit: Upps that was written already above... |
