xf100 and Final Cut X
So I have been out of the loop for a while, and decided
to do some editing last night. I noticed that canon released a new plug in for final cut pro x. I down loaded the plug in and installed. I than inserted my card in to my usb card reader and it shows up on my desktop as expected. I open final cut pro x but it doesn't see the card as highlighted? Any suggestions? I am running the most recent version of final cut pro. |

Never mind I figured it out.
Even though they are files on CF card from the camera and the obvious would be to select "import files" the correct selection's "import from camera" |

Re: xf100 and Final Cut X
Richard,
I have Final Cut X and a Canon XF100. When I first installed FCX, I had to use an independent program to transfer the cards to a file that FCX would see and accept. I have not attempted to download the MXF files directly to FCX, since I have not edited anything on FCX for probably a year now. Did I understand you to say that you can now injest the MXF files directly to FCX? Thanks, Larry |
