Just installed the update (XF300) but no doubt the same thing.
Yes, it asks for a serial number again but no problem if you own an XF300 etc. A major pain if you edit somebody else's work though.

I do edit others work, however I found that if I entered the serial number of my old HV 30, the software would download. Weird.

Also worth noting that even though this is supposed to be version 1.3.1, the "About Canon XF Utility still says it is 1.3.0!

In the Finder, it says XF Utiity 1.3.0.6...
Maybe they're rounding it up :-) |
