What to do

So I've always mixed my Canon shooting 60i with my Nikons which shoot 30p max. I have a project, a set of interviews coming up, and was brainstorming about shooting them all 30p. They'll be mostly interviews, but also some shots of manufacturing and the processes. I just know if I do it, the 60i will be gone.

We'll be going internet and computer playback for the final product, no DVD. Just thinking out loud.

Re: What to do

My HDV cameras will only shoot 1080i, however anything I export for the web/computer viewing is output as 1080p 29.97. Seeing as that is also your intended destination, I see no problem with just shooting 1080p30 then and forget the interlaced stuff.

Thanks
