1/30 shutter speed in 60i versus 30f???

I was doing a bit of testing comparing the image I got with using 1/30th shutter speed in 60i, versus 1/30 in 30f. I couldn't really see any difference. The reason this intruiged me was the fact that you can use an hdv deck with 60i recordings. The "look" of 1/30 in 60i seemed pretty much like 30f to me. I know that taking still frames from 30f would be better, but as far as watching video is concerned, should there be a huge difference?

Bill, I've noticed that too and have recorded a decent amount of stuff in 60i at 1/30. It brings in more light and has a very pleasing look.
