Hmmm! its not good

i just got my a1 last week and have been playing around with it to learn the functions but today noticed a blue squiggle on the right of the frame
i cleaned the lens but it still shows so i looked back and noticed it on the first bit of recording i did with the camera but very faint
i think the reason i hadnt noticed till now was that id only played around indoors
and today tried it outside and it was very prominent

Send to Canon Factory Service there in the UK, be sure to include a tape which shows the problem.
