Head Cleaning Tape

I've been using Panasonic AMQ and MQ tapes and need a good head cleaning tape. I bought the Panny DVMCL head cleaner and noticed on the back that it says, "Not for regular use. Only use when the picture or sound quality is degraded." I've looked for "regular use" head cleaning tapes, but it seems that this is the only one that Panny makes. Is this okay to use every month, or am I going to kill my heads?

Follow the instruction put out by Canon, covered in the owners manual.

Dry cleaning tapes have a mild abrasive tape designed to "'grind off" any deposits. And that will wear heads too, but it is usually insignificant for most users, and better than trying to shoot or playback with a head clog.
