Is 25f the same as 1080p
Hi
The Canon XH-A1 (PAL) can save either 50i or 25f video. As I understand from reading several posts here, the 25f mode saves 25 frames per seconds encapsulated in a 1080i signal. I also understand that 25f differs a little from a true progressive mode but as the differens is so subtile it really doesn't matter and 25f should be seen as a progressive mode. Now my questions: Is it correct to say that the 25f mode is the same as 1080p or am I missing something? Regards, /Bo |

Yes, you can refer to 25F as 1080p25 or 1080/25p (because that's what it is).
