No Audio From XLR

Hello. Potentially stupid question here...

I got the XH A1 a week ago and finally got a chance to fool around with it a bit today. Everything is fine, but then I connect the handheld mic to the XLR connector and get no audio from it. I try everything, but nothing works. What am I missing?

It may be a bit of an obvious question, but did you go into the audio menu and turn on the XLR?

I made that mistake the first time...heh.

Not a stupid question, it's a complicated beast until you get the hang of it. Somebody else has had a simiar problem recently, so to avoid duplication, have a look at this thread.

I managed to figure it out by doing something totally radical that has never been done before... I read the instructions that came with it!

I hope you do not plan to make a continuing habit of this type of behavior.

So what was it? Did you have the XLR turned on or did you have the input set to line or mic? Please post what you found in the manual that allowed you to fix it.

I had it turned to XLR. I was doing everything right, just not in the right order I think. Honestly couldn't tell you what the book told me to do that I did not try before.
