XHA1s HD/SD Component Connector
Is that a standard connector? Does anyone else make a shorter version of the cable that might be used with an on-camera monitor?

it is a D4 terminal to component cable; i just found one or two as i need to purchase them as well.

Do you know if it's possible to capture via component cables, and control the playback heads via firewire?? Thanks.... |

I capture with component through the Matrox MX02 Mini. I can control playback with firewire, but I do not record HDV timecode with component
