16x9 on a 4x3 screen

Hello fellow XH-A1 users, question here, I'll try and make this comprehensible. Is there a setting (under record mode) to output a live 16x9 feed for a 4x3 screen? Imagine your old 4x3 tube television and watching a 16x9 DVD on it. That is what I am looking to do out of the XH-A1.

I know I can choose whether I want to record in HD, SD 16x9 & SD 4x3. We have two cameras and mixing the footage live so no post work is wanted. The B camera has an easily found setting that does this.

Thanks in advance everyone.

I no longer have an A1 to experiment with but to the best of my knowledge: No
