Ah, the xha-1, what a great camera that was, still have one lying here being unused for the past months and thinking real hard whether I should sell it or not. One of the thing I don't like about that camera is very visible in one shot in your video (around 01:10) and that's the horrible grain when it gets too dark, also, don't know if it's because of the compression but it looked like the interviewee was out of focus sometimes? But well executed video with clear sound (was that only with the camera onboard mike?)

Thanks both... actually the gain/grain earlier on might have been caused by too high a setting on the camera - whereas later on it was set to 0 so the picture becomes clearer, albeit darker. It would have been beneficial to light the interviewee I think...
RE sound, it was done with a Sennheiser shotgun mic rather than the onboard... and I definitely think it benefits from it. |
