A1 Purchasers

When the A1 and G1 were first announced there was a poll to vote on whether you would purchase the A1 or G1. Last time I looked the A1 was ahead by about 10:1.

Maybe we should start a thread of A1 and G1 purchasers and tally how many regulars on here actually buy them, what they'll be using them for, etc. Or not.

I envy you both..... I'm planning to get this cam after the first of the year, maybe around March or April, but seeing all these clips makes me second guess that date!

Just shot with it for the first time yesterday, love it so far, also just used the 580ex flash on it last night while taking some stills, it was awesome.

The A1 rocks!

I bought the A1 from ZOTZ they are great guys, I will definetly buy again! It is such a sweet camera. Nobody can tell this camera apart from a discovery channel video in HD. I come from the JVC HD1 and the difference is so incredibly big, I found also the dynamic range to be much better than expected. A really great product, considering the results I think that it is cheap.

Ordered from an authorized dealer on Tuesday, got here yesterday (not a DVInfo sponsor, so shall remain nameless). Haven't had a chance to do much yet, but from the fiddling I've done I'm not regretting the purchase for one nano second. This cam's capabilities exceed mine, so I'm going to have to spend some serious time just getting to know what this camera is capable of.

An absolutely incredible machine for the money.

UPS says mine's on the truck in NY. I'm hoping I get it Wednesday. My only buyer's remorse is that I didn't pay extra for 2 day shipping.
