Great work. Thanks for uploading that. This confirms my decision over the HVX200 (which I've also shot with). They're both great cameras. You'd think they would both be in the same price range... but they're not. Thank you again... I will be shooting my first feature with the A1.

the canon A1 is currently the BEST prosumer HDV camera in the market. I think Sony is shaking in their pants right now. WHen is the Sony V1u shipping again?? Very curious to see the performance of the first true 24p progressive prosumer cam from Sony.

Sometime just before Christmas is the last I heard. I think you're right, and if the A1 outsells the V1 like it appears it will, we will probably see either a Z2 with CMOS sensors or a V2 with 1/3 sensors, by mid next year, I'd guess.
