Seperate sound recording

I would like to share the solution i have done before,
Get a MP3-player with line in option. Creative Zen Nano for example.
With tape or minidisk you are limited to 1 hour recording.
When recording on tape or minidisk, most of the time it is not possible to switch the tape / disc unless you have an assistent to do it for you.
This MP3 player can record up to several hours at 160 kbit sample ratio.
But as already said by others, check the results before final recording.
At one occasion I had only the vocals and no orchestra due to a mis configuration by the mix-master. So the recording was useless.

Kind regards
Rene Brunken

Also consider system like the MicroTrack from M-audio, especially if high quality sound is important. Gives
