body dimensions
Sorry if I missed this somewhere the information this morning is just overwhelming.
Can anyone shed some light on the body dimensions in realtion to the xl1/s. Will the xl2 be able to fit in underwater housing made for the xl1? I assume any old weather covers will fit as the cameras don't look too different in shape/size, and there is always a little extra room in the weather proof capes. However with underwater cases it can get snug. Thanks |

Since the XL2 essentially includes a build in MA100, anything that will hold an Xl1/s WITH a MA100 attached will work. If your case required teh body without the MA100, it's a no-go.

thanks guys it looks like it is the same width and height (less 0.8 of an inch) but is about 3" longer. Hmmmm Have to carefuly measure the housing but I think it may be a no go.
