XL-2 Camera Speeds
According to what I have read, this second modification of the XL-1, has an increase to 30 speeds. I can't find them in the "specs" sheet", on the Canon site, or here.
This is a very important piece of info for a wild life shooter, such as I am. Any of you folks who have done a hands on know what they are. Obviously, we know 60i, 30, 24p. That leaves only 27???

I think this is a reference to shutter speeds - I have not seen those detailed specifications yet.

My best guess is they are 1/8 to 1/15,000 in 1/2 stop increments and maybe a few special speeds such as 1/48. It also has Clear Scan for recording monitors and they may be counting all or some of those.

Jeff.
The specs that I have read list clear scan separately. The increase in speed options is more than double from the older versions. One would hope an increase on the lower and the higher ends would be more desireable, as the new cam lens has half stops. I guess that I will have to drool in anticipation.
