So there are two 'passwords' that open the vault!

I haven't seen Rush post here so I was reluctant to call him by name in my previous post.

Thanks for the tip. It might sway whom I work order from on a big purchase. Normally on small stuff, expedited shipment is more important to solve that ever-present need for instant gratification. ; )

are they making the body ONLY for sale immediately or will that come months later?

any guesses as to B&H/PAL?

Is it somewhat safe to assume that B&H will take orders for the PAL version of the XL2 sometime soon?

For a couple of reasons:

a) for XL1 owners who want to upgrade to an XL2 but want to use their existing XL lenses,

b) maybe for those who want a dedicated mini35 camera.

I'm sure there are other potential reasons...

i have the xl1s, i plan to sell my body (the camcorder, not my "body") for XL2's body. i'll keep the 16x since it is doing OK. i may get a 3x depending on needs.
