I'll be shooting with the xl2 Next week!
I will be shooting a sports documentary starting next week. We managed to get canon Japan to sponsor xl2x3!You Could imagine how stoked I am!
But meanwhile, I'd like to find out more about the camera. I've heard that the CODec might not be DV, and that FCPHD does not support this. Is this true? I've been reading how good it is, but I'd like to know if there are any flaws that I should know of. Takeshi FUksuhima |

Congratulations -- please let us know how your shoot goes!
It uses a standard DV codec. I have not seen it captured to Final Cut Pro, but I have seen it captured to Vegas, flawlessly. There should be no issue there at all. |
