Geez, I wish I still had a Hi-8 around here so I could capture some stuff and upload it for you. Must have about 200 hours of L2-originated video sitting in a box in the closet. Haven't seen it in years, either.

What kind of frame grabs (e.g., subjects)?
From tape playback or from live camera output?
What format grabs (JPG, BMP, PSD, etc.)

FYI, according to a Canon tech, internally, the L-2 and the A-1 were the same. Only the lens had been changed.

The L2 and A1 digital were very similar, but not identical, and the L2 came out ~3 years after the A1 Digital. The A1 Digital and L1 may have been closer to each other. Among the differences, the L2 supported RCTC and used an external mic, the A1 Digital had a somewhat different set of digital effects and auto white balance was based on ambient light hitting the camcorder, not TTL light. They appear to use the same CCD assembly.

Mark: where do you want the frame grab sent?

I don't mean to be annoying, but could you send me one more grab taken from outdoor footage?
