XL2 Shoulder Pad
Hey all,
I for one find the XL2 shoulder pad odd and doesn't really seem to work well. I have held an Xl1s with the SP100 shoulder pad attachment and that seemed to work really well. Would anyone know if it is possible to use the SP100 shoulder pad on the XL2? |

If you look closely at your XL2, you'll see there's no possible way to mount an SP-100 to it (I believe you just might be the first person here who has ever confessed to actually liking the SP-100, so more power to you). You can use a third-party shoulder support such as the VariZoom VZ-LSP with the XL2 fairly easily. Hope this helps, |

It actually worked pretty well for me too (the sp-100), sorry <g>
From a very limited test run @ IBC this year I thought the pad was a bit hard. Shouldn't be too hard to add some soft material to the bottom of it?

Hehe, thanks Chris. I just feel like the camera rests and balances better on me with th SP100. Oh well ... I guess I'll go and try to shoot footage with this camera and hopefully post up some footage in the future for all of those debating on what to buy. Hope that helps.
