XL2 60i capture question

After filming in 4:3 - 60i mode, can it be captured by using any nle at 4:3 - 29.97 , or ....how?

4:3 at 60i is plain vanilla DV. It's about 95% of everything you see on video in North America. Just about any application can capture and edit it with ease, from cheap $50 programs to full-blown professional editing suites.
