Difference between PAL & NTSC Lens?

Hi there
I am looking at a wide angle adapter on ebay.

I have spotted an original 3x canon lens.

It occured to me that is there a difference between the pal and ntsc lenses?

If this is based in the states, then i guess it is ntsc. I have a pal camera. I hope it will work!?!

Lawrence

I am aware of the exsitence of Pal and NTSC cameras and their difference. However as the vertical lines in ntsc are less than pal, I wondered if the lenses where different for each version.

Lenses made for PAL versions and NTSC versions are the same, no need for separate versions.

I can also confirm that PAL version lenses will work on NTSC systems as I've been using the new XL2 NTSC body with my ol' 16x lens from my XL1s PAL.
