Portabrace rainslicker compatibility
A couple of years back, I purchased the longer Portabrace rainslicker for my XL1S (the one that has space for MA200). While on vacation last week, I got a chance to try an XL2 hands-on at Showcase in Atlanta. I did not have my rainslicker with me, and I didn't notice any on Showcase's shelf to test it out...
The length -looks- alright but it may not cover the front end of the longer 20x barrel completely. The biggest problem I forsee (but can't confirm) is the much wider/beefier viewfinder assembly on the XL2. I don't think the XL1 Portabrace rainslickers can fit over the new viewfinder, especially with the available X and Y axis adjustment... Can anyone with an XL2 and an XL1 Portabrace rainslicker confirm whether or not the XL1 slicker will work with an XL2?
