Mounting ME66 Mic

I'm planning to replace Canon's standard camera mic with a Sennheiser ME66. The diameter of the ME66 is much smaller than the Canon mic. What's the best way mount the ME66? Larger rubber bushings? Any thoughts on the best way to cut vibration to the shotgun mic?

So far, I have had good success with some packaging foam. You need the soft high density black stuff and a sharp x-acto knife to craft just the right shape. Once you have made your "donut" the xl mounting clamp squishes down upon it and somewhat isolates the mic from the cam. It will pick up the drone of the zoom motor in the lens nonetheless.
