I need a little help

I am very excited because I get to use an XL2 for the first time in about 2 weeks. I am filming my school play and some of my own stuff afterwards. I have some questions about it so if you guys would help me that would be great. First off, the different frame rates on the camera. If I shoot 24p, do I just have to edit on a 24p timeline in Vegas to make it all sync? Also is 60i, 60fps? I am completely drawing a blank as to my other questions. When I think of them I will ask but if anyone has any other tips for a first time XL2 user, please let me know. I appreciate it all.

Mitch, you're definitely in the right place for your XL2 research. Most questions tend to be common ones that have been addressed here before, so roll up your sleeves, use the "search" tool and dig right in. Regarding 24p in Vegas, we have a forum specific to that program called "What Happens In Vegas" and I'm sure you'll find that 24p has been heavily discussed there. If you have something specific that you've been unable to find while roaming these halls, please be sure to let us know. Hope this helps,

Mitch, Look at the thread called 24p confusion in this forum. There I posted a link to an article which should help.
