Bad Frames

I'm having a bit of trouble with bad frames. They look like bits of the data was garbled or lost. Here are a couple of examples:

I didn't notice the bad frames during capture but they showed up when I tried editing the footage in Premiere... some of them. Some of them are only noticeable after I export but they are consistent: the same frames are bad after multiple renderings.

BTW, I cleaned the heads just before the shoot.

Anybody have this sort of trouble before? Any info would be a big help.

Definitely digital drop-outs.

Have you tried re-capturing those sections?

Well, I think I've pinpointed the problem. It isn't with the XL2... I seem to be getting the dropouts when I transfer clips from my big storage drive. If I play the clips from the drive: no problem. If I transfer them to my editing machine and then play them: dropouts. Weird. Thanks for the reply, though.
