XL2 for live Internet broadcast
Has anyone out there used their XL2 for a webcam?
I'd like to use it for live broadcasts over our webpage, as well as for canned/archival footage. With proper lighting/audio will I be able to maintain the same high standard of quality with our live productions as seen in our archival shots? For remote locations we'll be broadcasting via salelite at an uplink speed of 256kbps. Will this maintain the same picture quality as we'll get broadcasting via a T-1 or DSL connection? I posted another message at the DVD and web video delivery. Hope that's not cross-posting....don't yell at me, Chris...I'm a new guy. Thanks for any feedback. Charles |

Actually it is cross-posting. I'm not yelling at ya, but I think you'll draw a better response from your thread in our DVD / Web Video Delivery forum, because your question is more about that than it is about the XL2.
